RFQ management

Keep every RFQ and quotation in its business context.

A request for quotation (RFQ) asks a supplier for a commercial offer. For distributors and resellers, the request, response and follow-up often sit in different places. Ploosa brings RFQs and quotations into the same workspace as the relationship between the two businesses.

Start with the request and the right partner

Connect with the business you want to trade with, then send an RFQ through the shared workflow. Keeping the request attached to the relationship makes the receiving business clear and gives your team a place to return when the conversation develops. Product discovery and business profiles help you prepare before you ask for a quote.

Respond with a quotation

The receiving business can answer an RFQ with a quotation. The request and the commercial response stay in the platform, alongside the partner conversation. A quote is a specific response to a request; a shared price list is a separate way to make pricing available to your network. Ploosa supports both workflows.

Follow the work through to acceptance

Review the quotation, discuss the details with the other business and follow the workflow through acceptance. The commercial record stays attached to the businesses involved. Colleagues working in the same workspace can use that context when they pick up the next action, instead of relying only on forwarded correspondence.

Questions about rfq management

What is the difference between an RFQ and a quotation?

An RFQ is the buyer’s request for a commercial offer. A quotation is the supplier’s response. Keeping them connected helps both businesses understand what was requested and what was offered.

Do I need a paid plan to exchange RFQs?

No. Free participation includes exchanging RFQs and quotations and messaging your connections. Paid packages add capacity and tools; they are not required to participate.

Are our quotations published on the website?

No. Business records and commercial workflows require an authenticated account. This page describes the product and does not publish customer RFQs or quotations.
