Ploosa uses cookies for sign-in and security, and browser storage for preferences and application state. This policy describes the product’s use of those technologies; Symquark’s corporate website has a separate policy.
Policy review in progress. For questions about the terms that apply to your account, contact Symquark.
01Cookies & similar technologies
This policy applies to Ploosa, operated by SYMQUARK L.L.C-FZ. Read it with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small values a browser stores for a website and sends back on relevant requests. Local storage keeps information in your browser across visits; session storage normally lasts for the current tab. These technologies serve different purposes and do not all have the same expiry.
02Sign-in & security
Ploosa uses a session cookie (__Host-session) to maintain an authenticated session, and a security cookie (__Host-csrf) to help protect account actions from forged requests. The session cookie is protected from access by page scripts.
These cookies are necessary for authenticated features. Session duration depends on inactivity limits, the maximum session lifetime, and the sign-in configuration; signing out clears the active session. Additional temporary authentication state may be used when you choose a sign-in method.
03Preferences & application state
Local storage remembers choices such as your appearance preference (ploosa-theme) and a limited account display cache. Other browser storage supports selected workspace views, dismissed prompts, and the continuity of sign-in or recovery flows.
Persistent preferences remain until changed or cleared. Temporary state is removed when the relevant flow completes or the tab session ends. A stored display preference or account cache does not itself grant access to a workspace.
04Payments, integrations & analytics
When you use a payment or external sign-in flow, the relevant provider may use its own cookies or similar technologies for authentication, payment processing, or fraud prevention. Its notice applies to those technologies.
Ploosa’s website does not currently include advertising pixels or a third-party analytics cookie integration. Operational logs and in-product activity used to deliver the Service are described in the Privacy Policy. If we introduce technologies that require consent, we will provide the relevant information and consent controls before using them.
05Your browser controls
Your browser settings let you inspect, delete, or block cookies and clear local or session storage for Ploosa. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent sign-in and account actions. Clearing preferences may reset the appearance of the app or other choices.
To end an active session, use Ploosa’s sign-out action. On a shared device, sign out before leaving; clearing a display cache alone does not sign you out. Changing browser storage does not delete records already held in a workspace.
06Changes & contact
We will update this policy as Ploosa’s use of browser storage changes.
